The Technical Support Analyst will provide technical and first level customer support to internal and external clients.

The Technical Analyst will assist in setup of client configurations, maintenance for clients applications and interfaces.

Additional responsibilities include helping document and troubleshoot HL7 interface specifications and cross departmental communication in order to meet expected time frames of deliverables.

DUTIES

Customer Support:

  • Understand customer new requests and issues.
  • Take customer calls, follow-up on customer requests and issues.
  • Answer calls in others absence.
  • Handle off hour customer support calls and email requests.
Technical Support:
  • Test issues before and after production (duplicating issues, understanding)
  • Open Case logs, restart servers, enable reports, testing as required by Development team.
  • Debugging the issues in productions & see to apply a fix in production if possible- or fix in development.
Documentation:
  • Maintain Product Release notes
  • Update documents (user guides, reports etc.)
  • Create new documentation (Perioperative documentation, Anesthesiologist documentation etc.).
  • Verifying the documents to see if these are correct as per the development.
Implementation:
  • Help setup new installs as well as bring new customers/products on line.
Training :
  • Provide Webinars and on-site training to clients and prospects.
Other Duties as Required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors in Science degree or equivalent
  • 3 years or more of Customer Support experience in a healthcare type of environment.
  • Experience with supporting web applications
  • SQL Server expertise or familiarity will be a big plus
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Basic technical skills, troubleshooting expertise with web products and good interpersonal skills.
