Short Description:
Cooper University Hospital Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and the leading provider of comprehensive health services, med! ical education and clinical research in South Jersey. We are currently seeking a full time Clinical Director for the Obstetrical Services department in Camden, NJ. Cooper University Hospital has a high risk perinatal program with in-house maternal fetal medicine coverage and a maternal acute care unit for more close observation of our seriously ill patients, an OB triage unit and a separate antepartum unit. We offer superior nursing care with 24 hour obstetrician, anesthesiologist and neonatologist coverage. In this key role, the Clinical Director will assume responsibility for the effective operation and delivery of patient care of the department with a focus on patient care services, role modeling and other management functions as well as direction of its operational, personnel and financial activities.
Special Requirements:
Graduate of NLN school of Nursing.
BSN required, MBA or MSN preferred.
3 years clinical experience in OB or ICU preferred! .
2-3 years experience in a similar management position. BLS, ACLS, PALS certification.
Strong leadership and customer service skills.
