Description: Southern Ocean County Hospital is at the momment seeking for SURGICAL TECHNICIAN [OPERATING ROOM] 2FT1 right now, this vacancy will be reside in New Jersey. The Surgical Technician is responsible for providing technical support to the surgeon, anesthesiologist and registered nurses in! the operating room. They must be able to function under the direct supervision of the RN circulator while having the knowledge base to work independently to properly & efficiently prepare for scheduled procedures.
Requirements:
[Minimum education]
High School Diploma
Successfully completed & graduated from an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
[Minimum work experience]
2 years Main OR experience
[Desired work experience]
2+ years in a trauma, university setting
[Required licenses/certifications]
Desired~ scrub tech certification
[Required skills]
Strong Knowledge base of aseptic technique; able to scrub on most specialty procedures; a strong willingness to learn new technology.
[Valid drivers license required]
