Monmouth Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility, along with The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Mon mouth Medical Center, is one of New Jersey’s largest academic medical centers and has been a teaching affiliate of Philadelphia’s Drexel University College of Medicine for more than 40 years. From its earliest days, Monmouth Medical Center has been a leader in surgical advancement and has introduced many technological firsts to the region, including robotic surgery and other minimally invasive techniques. Located in Long Branch, NJ, Monmouth Medical Center is right on the coast of New Jersey and just one hour south of New York City.
Private practice servicing this 527-bed community hospital is looking to hire an additional anesthesiologist due to growth. Hospital has a busy orthopedic, neurosurgical, and spinal center for which they provide extensive regional and acute pain management support. Monmouth Medical Center also has a heavy presence of CRNAs.
Staffing model: 18 MDs to 14 CRNAs
Case mix: variety of cases including general, OB, and pe diatrics
Call: x2 in house per month and 4 backup calls a month, 1 weekend call every 4-5 weeks.
