Description: Southern Ocean County Hospital is in need of SURGICAL TECHNICIAN [OPERATING ROOM]6PT1 right now, this occupation will be presented in New Jersey. Further informations about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. The Surgical Technician is responsible for providing technical support to the surgeon, anesthesiologist and registered nurse in the operati! ng room. Schedule - Monday to Friday 7am-730pm (2 days per week), Emergency On-Call is mandatory for this position - Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of notification.
Requirements:
[Minimum education]
Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology.
[Minimum work experience]
One year OR Experience as a Surgical Technician is required; One or more years active scrub experience preferred. Must have knowledge of instrumentation and scrubbing for procedures.
[Required licenses/certifications]
Certification as a Surgical Technician is preferred.
Valid BLS (Basic Life Support)/CPR preferred
[Valid drivers license required]
