Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a per diem, Certified Anesthesia Tech for the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, Anesthesiology.
Position Summary: This position works independently and under the supervision of the Anesthesia Senior Technician, providing support and assistance! to Anesthesiologists and Anesthetists in the acquisition, pre! paration, and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia.
Qualifications:
All PHCS employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification received by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) within six months of employment or when eligible to sit for ASATT certification exam.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required; professionalism essential.
- Also required are a customer service orientation, a teamwork approach, flexibility, organizational and problem-solving skills.
