A reputable health system in Southern New Jersey is now hiring for a dynamic Perioperative Services Nurse Manager to join the Surgical Services team. In collaboration with the Surgical Services Director, the Perioperative Services Nurse Manager is responsible for the effective communication among the department’s interdisciplinary team, patients and family members. The Perioperative Services Nurse Manager will join a team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and CRNAs and will be supported by the Assistant Nurse Manager, Operating Room Nurse Educator, and the RN Supervisor. As the first line of support for clinical issues, this position assists in the delivery of patient care to ensure that safety and quality standards are being met.
The Perioperative Services Nurse Manager will support programs and projects designed to promote professional development in members of the surgical services team. The operating room associates will utilize evidence-based practice and research to improve the care provided by the organization.
