The Director of Surgical Services is an integral member of the health care team. The director is responsible and accountable for delivering safe, reliable and quality patient care in all areas of Surgical Services. Surgical Services includes (Pre-Admission Testing, Day Surgery, Operating Room, Endoscopy, Pain Management and Post Anesthesia Care unit).
The 10 ORs offer the followi ng Services: Surgical Pre-Admission Testing, Ambulatory/Outpatient Surgery, Pain Management, Post-Anesthesia Care, Endoscopy, as well as services provided for longer-stay inpatients.
The service line combines state-of-the-art technology, newly renovated operating rooms and an experienced, caring team that deliver a full range of surgical services in a sensitive and patient-focused environment:
Orthopedics and Spine
Bariatric
Breast
Colorectal
Urological
General Surgery
Ear, Nose and Throat
Eye (Cataract and Retinal)
Gynecologic
Laparoscopic
Vascular and Endovascular
Thoracic
The Director of Surgical Services is an integral member of the executive health care team. The director is responsible and accountable for delivering safe, reliable and quality patient care in all areas of Surgical Services.
The ideal candidate will be a CNOR and Masters prepared. They must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills necessary to develop and administer policies and procedures, budgets, and nursing practice.
This position is located in Central New Jersey, about an hour from Manhattan. The community surrounding the hospital is a wonderful place to live or work, with a thriving performing arts scene, great shopping and not far from wonderful beaches and recreation.
